The Parthenon Frieze. Block N III

Shown on this block are three bull-herdsmen (6-8) wearing himatia and walking close beside the bulls they are driving toward the left. Carrey’s drawing shows that the second figure (7), of which only the lower part of the himation is preserved below the last bull, was turned back toward the procession.
