The Parthenon Frieze. Block N XLII
Image
Three horsemen (115-117) ride their steeds at a gallop. The last one (117) is really flying, with all four hooves off the ground. His young master grabs the crest of his mane with his right hand. The first rider (115) wears apparently a short chiton, while the other two have in addition chlamys and sandals.
