The Parthenon Frieze. Block N XXXI

A triad of three horsemen is represented on this block. The middle figure (82) is the best preserved and wears a short chiton with double fold, helmet and sandals. Of the other two (81 and 83), preserved are only the lower part of their bodies and garments with part of their horses.
