The Parthenon Frieze. Block N XXXIII

On this block three horsemen (86-88) are galloping their horses. A small part of the chiton of the first rider (86) to the left is preserved where it falls along the horse’s back. The second (87) is clad in chiton and cuirass, the third (88) wears sandals and a chiton with double fold and a wide belt.
