The Parthenon Frieze. Block N XIV

The block is preserved only in Carrey’s drawing. In the middle of the block is depicted a charioteer (49) and an apobates (50) with helmet and shield and with his left foot already on the ground as he makes his leap. To the right are depicted the horses and chariot of block XV.
